SPRING INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAM 2026
THE PROGRAM
The Spring Instructional program is designed to help develop players in preparation for their spring evaluations. Players will receive coaching in pitching, hitting, fielding, outfield, and base running. Coaches will teach what is looked for during the evaluation procedure and get them comfortable with each of the skills they will be tested on. Training during this time of the year is integral to ready the player physically for the beginning of the season.

WEEKDAYS: BATTING PRACTICE
- Players will be grouped by age for hour-long batting practice. These practices will focus on the offensive side of the game. Including understanding of the swing, timing, and mental approach.
- All weekday batting practices will take place at the Gordie Howe Sports Complex.
WEEKENDS: SKILL DEVELOPMENT
Sessions will focus on fundamentals in the disciplines of; fielding, outfield, pitching and base running. These sessions will be two hours in length. Practices will take place at the Gordie Howe Sports Complex.
Players will be grouped by age and rotate through the stations with players of the most similar age and skill.
AGES 7 - 14
The Spring Instructional program will begin on Wednesday, January 21st - 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM - North Turf 2026.
The program will end on Sunday, March 1st, 2026. There are 14 total sessions / 23 total hours of professional instruction.
