FALL BALL LEAGUE PROGRAM
Going Yard coaches believe this program is instrumental in building successful player development in a fun environment. This program is an ideal mixture of instruction and gameplay to extend a player’s season and develop their in-game experience. Teams will be comprised of 11 to 13 based on registration players.
Teams at the following age divisions:
11U, 13U, 15U
All players will be placed on a team. This will be a local league for games. Practices will be replaced with skills development sessions. These sessions will be done by age group, players will get the chance to work on a variety of baseball skills weekly with Going Yard coaches.

The first games will begin on September 9th, 2023. Teams will have a 10-game schedule, 5 weeks with doubleheader format games on Saturdays. The last games will be on October 14th. We do not play games on the September long weekend or on Thanksgiving weekend.

Each team will feature 2 dedicated coaches.
Players can expect 1 Skill Development Session per week and a Double Header (2 games) on the weekends. Fall team games will be scheduled against other Going Yard Teams. We hope to form at least 3 teams per age division.
Arizona Fall Ball Trip
USSSA Veterans Day Salute
This trip is for players interested in traveling to Phoenix November 9th - 13th, 2023. Evaluations for these teams will be done by coaches throughout the first 3 weeks of the fall. The Arizona Trip rosters will be announced on September 25th, 2023. One team will be selected for each age group to go on the trip.

FALL INSTRUCTIONAL CAMP
Practices
12 consecutive weeks of Wednesdays and Saturdays. We do not practice on long weekends (Labour day, Thanksgiving).
Wednesdays: Batting Practice
Players will be grouped by age between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM for hour-long batting practice. These practices will focus on the offensive side of the game. Including understanding of the swing, timing, and mental approach. Wednesday evening batting practices will take place at the Gordie Howe Sports Complex.
Saturdays: Skill Development
Sessions will focus on fundamentals in the disciplines of; fielding, outfield, pitching, and base running.
These sessions will be two hours in length. From 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Practices will take place at Nutana Baseball Complex until inclement weather. Once it’s too cold outside, we will move indoors to the Gordie Howe Sports Complex.
The Fall Ball Instructional program will begin on Saturday, August 26th, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the Nutana Baseball Complex.
After the September long weekend, all Saturday sessions will be at the Nutana Baseball Complex.
The program will end on November 16th, 2022. There are 22 total sessions.
